Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company announced today that it has once again been named the winner of the prestigious Talon Award for 2013 presented by Stockholder Consulting Services, Inc. (“SCS”) in connection with its annual industry-wide customer satisfaction and performance survey of stock transfer agents throughout North America. For the fourth consecutive year, Continental has been rated #1 among all agents surveyed nationwide. This survey captures the views of the entire industry by measuring performance of small, mid-sized and large transfer agents.
Continental finished first in overall customer satisfaction, receiving the highest score ever achieved in the history of SCS surveys. Further, Continental was rated #1 in every meaningful category, including Client Administration, Stock Plan Administration, Annual Meeting Planning and Support, Call Center Operations, Use of Technology and Online Access, Corporate Actions Processing, Restricted and Sensitive Transaction Processing, Escheatment, and Year-End Reporting.

Continental achieved the highest Loyalty Index score (98%) and 100% of responding customers stated they would recommend their services to other issuers. SCS found Continental to charge the lowest rates, and charge the lowest out-of-pocket expenses among all agents surveyed, reflecting the best value in the transfer agent industry.
